Silverthorn News Flash [SOLD]
No doubt you would have seen this gelding through our news pages with April Spriggs his owner/rider. Flash is an outstanding three year old, appproximately 15hh gelding by Ronan Abdul Smoke.
April has taken Flash to four shows for five firsts, two seconds, three thirds and two fifths in three year old and open classes. Entered for Sydney Royal Show 2012.
April has done a lot of liberty work with Flash and he has been used to demonstrate liberty training at our horsemanship clinics.
Flash has been used at our horsemanship clinics as a reliable mount for nervous and novice riders. His kind and willing temperament has given these people much confidence and enjoyment.
A great horse for all the family, reasonably priced and well worth a look.

This stallion is dual ASHS and AQHS registered. He has been with us several years and has crossed really well with our ASH mares and has pleased us with what he has produced. Many outside clients have returned to use him after he has sired beautiful foals on their mares. We are finding his stock to be very quiet and easy to manage. A nice horse to handle and a great horse to run with mares or alternatively, hand serve.
Reason for sale is that we have a young Acres Destiny/Docs Freckles Oak stallion that will be replacing this horse.

Silverthorn Gideon [SOLD]
Bay three-year-old gelding by St Ronan Abdul Smoke, from Barsham Sunaround. Gideon is an exciting and outstanding futurity prospect.
For his first two shows, he has notched up two wins in two three-year old snaffle bit events, firsts in a maiden hack and a dressage test, as well as other high placings.
He is solid in his work, a great type, moves well, will excel in any discipline.

Due to our heavy workload, we are reluctantly putting this filly up for sale.
Journey is black/brown and by our late stallion St Ronan Abdul Smoke and from Silverthorn Danni Girl (full sister to Silverthorn My Girl).
Dual registered ASHS and ANSA. She carries great proven heritage bloodlines that are highly sought after and hard to find in one individual - check out her pedigree. Her grand dam is Six S Stud Charity who is a mare that we think very highly of and who consistently has produced great performance horses for us over the years.
Journey is a delightful filly to handle and ride. Very kind and responsive under saddle, Would suit any discipline.
First time at Stroud Show this year she placed second in her led filly 2-3 years, first in a large ASH hack novice class, fourth in the novice working horse any age, and a second in the working junior horse 3yrs and under. At the ASH Nationals last week she placed 4th in the two-year-old hack, and fourth in the working two-year-old in strongly contested fields.

Just turned three, this filly is certainly developing into a beautiful mare. By St Ronan Abdul Smoke, and from Silverthorn Madalyn, a mare that we regard as one of our best performed and producing mares.
Marina is full of style and elegance, will probably grow to about 15hh, and is a great prospect for the serious competitor or heritage breeder. She has been professionally broken-in, spelled, and back in training for show or sale.
We should be retaining this filly for our breeding programme but feel that she deserves the chance to promote our stud by proving herself either in the show ring or in the designated sport of her future owner.
